Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Spatial Analysis
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 2–8 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a GIS Spatial Analysis professional with experience in geospatial data, address databases, spatial analysis, and the telecom industry. The candidate will be responsible for validating and maintaining address data, performing quality assessments, ensuring data integrity, and conducting complex geospatial analysis.
The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to work with large-scale address and geospatial databases.
Educational Qualification
Tertiary qualification in Geospatial, Geographical, GIS, or a related field.
Relevant practical experience in geospatial operations and GIS.
Required Experience & Skills
1–4 years of practical geospatial experience.
3–5 years of experience in the Telecom Industry preferred.
Technical proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Experience using Spatialnet, ELMS, and Nearmap.
Experience maintaining large address databases in the private or public sector.
Experience with address validation and address matching.
Understanding of cadastral data, land titles, and property legislation.
Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
Intermediate database skills.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience in training staff is preferred.
Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Implement address-related processes by validating addresses for correctness and accuracy.
Improve and maintain data integrity within the client's National Address database.
Perform TLS Address Matching and related address validation activities.
Review data integrity outputs from Address Administrators.
Prepare address information for internal and external stakeholders.
Report on addresses that are Ready for Service (RFS) and addresses proposed for service.
Analyze address information and undertake quality assessments of geospatial data.
Liaise with relevant departments to resolve access seeker queries.
Maintain and operate address information obtained from various organizational sources.
Act as the first escalation point for addressing-related enquiries.
Undertake complex geospatial data analysis on addressing data.
Support training and knowledge-sharing activities where required.
Follow applicable policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
