HR Delivery Lead - L&D (German Language)

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR Delivery Lead – L&D to lead global HR Shared Services and Hire-to-Retire operations. The role will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery, client and stakeholder management, operational governance, workforce leadership, transformation, financial performance, and continuous improvement across global HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

Lead end-to-end HR Shared Services delivery across global Hire-to-Retire processes.
Ensure achievement of agreed service levels, operational targets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Establish strong governance frameworks to drive accountability, compliance, and consistent service outcomes.
Manage large-scale, multi-location, and multicultural delivery teams.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary delivery leader for customer engagements.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide executive-level delivery oversight.
Conduct governance reviews, performance reporting, and service delivery discussions.
Provide actionable business insights and continuous improvement recommendations.

HR Operations & Domain Expertise

Manage and provide oversight across global Hire-to-Retire processes including:
- Talent Acquisition
- Core HR Administration
- Talent Management
- Learning & Development
- Performance Management
- Payroll
- Compensation
- Employee Lifecycle Services
Drive process standardization and operational excellence across HR Shared Services.

Transformation & Technology

Drive HR transformation, service modernization, process simplification, and digitization initiatives.
Leverage Automation, Analytics, AI, RPA, and Agentic AI to improve service quality, efficiency, and employee experience.
Work with global HCM and HR technology platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and ServiceNow HRSD.
Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and continuous improvement.

Workforce & Talent Leadership

Own workforce planning, staffing strategy, capability development, and succession planning.
Ensure timely onboarding, training, and readiness of delivery teams.
Drive talent development and performance management across the aligned account.

Financial & Commercial Accountability

Own account-level financial performance, revenue realization, margin management, productivity, and cost optimization.
Manage contractual commitments and identify opportunities for account expansion and value creation.
Drive continuous innovation and operational improvements.

Risk, Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, internal governance standards, audit requirements, data privacy regulations, and applicable HR policies.
Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
Maintain strong process controls and drive continuous control improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

16–18 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO), HR Shared Services, or Global Business Services.
Strong experience in global HR delivery and Hire-to-Retire operations.
Proven experience leading large-scale global delivery operations.
Strong experience in BPS Service Operations / Service Management reporting, including contract management and SLA reporting.
Excellent client management, stakeholder management, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of HR transformation, process standardization, automation, analytics, and digital HR solutions.
Experience with global HCM platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM is preferred.
Exposure to ERP, workflow, automation, and service management technologies.
HR Analytics, Data Analytics, AI, Automation, or RPA certifications will be an added advantage.

German Language

German language proficiency at B2.2/C1 level or above is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates with German language capability will have an added advantage when engaging with German-speaking stakeholders.
