Role Purpose
The India Benefits Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end employee benefits administration across India. The role includes NPS administration, reimbursements, health and insurance benefits, meal and fuel card programs, vendor management, benefits-related employee queries, and compliance.
The role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, along with hands-on experience using Workday and ServiceNow. The candidate will also lead employee onboarding sessions, monthly benefits meetings, and vendor interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Administration
Manage National Pension Scheme (NPS) enrollments, advances, and employee reimbursements.
Administer health and insurance enrollments, claims, and renewals.
Manage employee meal and fuel card programs.
Validate benefits deductions and ensure accuracy of employee benefits records.
Maintain awareness of payroll processing and payroll cutoff dates.
Ensure benefits processes comply with regulatory and organizational policies.
Resolve employee benefits queries and concerns within defined timelines.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate issue resolution.
Validate and process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and other internal stakeholders.
Ensure timely resolution of benefits-related escalations.
Employee Engagement
Conduct benefits onboarding sessions for new employees.
Lead monthly employee meetings and explain benefits programs and updates.
Respond to employee queries professionally and provide accurate benefits information.
Build strong employee relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
Systems & Reporting
Use Workday and ServiceNow to manage benefits-related processes and cases.
Knowledge of Darwin is an advantage.
Use reporting and analytics capabilities to monitor benefits performance.
Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6–7 years of hands-on experience in India Benefits Administration.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits processes and administration.
Experience with Workday – Mandatory.
Experience with ServiceNow – Mandatory.
Knowledge of Darwin – Optional / Good to Have.
Strong understanding of NPS, health insurance, reimbursements, meal cards, and fuel cards.
Knowledge of payroll deductions and cutoff processes.
Excellent English communication skills with near-native proficiency.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Confident personality with the ability to lead meetings and employee sessions.
Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Work From Office is mandatory; no work from home.

Eligibility
Graduate with relevant experience in India Benefits Administration.
Overall experience: 4–8 years.
Preferred/relevant experience: 6–7 years in India Benefits Administration.
Ex-TCS employees are not eligible.
PAN and Date of Birth (DOB) are required for profile creation.
