Job Title : Master Data Management Lead
Job Summary
The Master Data Management Lead will be responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of employee master data across HR, payroll, timekeeping, and benefits systems. The role involves managing employee master data changes, processing employee lifecycle transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, leave of absence, reactivations, and terminations, and maintaining employee personal and banking information. The candidate will also perform data reconciliation and resolve fallouts between systems such as ADX, WinTeam, and LISA, conduct audits and compliance reviews, and coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and IT teams. Strong knowledge of HR Operations, payroll inputs, employee lifecycle management, HRIS/payroll/timekeeping systems, analytical skills, and data reconciliation is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee master data changes including cost center, compensation, pay rate, union code, office location, supervisor, and job title updates.
- Process job changes, promotions, demotions, employee transfers, and primary job number changes.
- Review and process new hire records and promotion validations.
- Process Leave of Absence (LOA), Return of Equity (ROE), employee terminations, reactivations, and employee status changes.
- Manage subcontractor records and personal action requests.
- Prepare and analyze data fallout reports between ADX, WinTeam, and LISA.
- Perform manual data entry and corrections for identified data fallouts.
- Reconcile payroll, HR, and benefits-related data to prevent downstream issues.
- Conduct anniversary bonus reviews, pay rate reviews, and job data audits.
- Validate benefits-impacting changes related to union code updates.
- Ensure employee data complies with labor laws, union agreements, and organizational policies.
- Process employee personal information changes including address, email, and phone number updates.
- Process direct deposit/banking information and Social Insurance Number (SIN) updates.
- Raise and manage IT service tickets related to employee data and system access dependencie
- Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and IT teams for seamless processing.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll Operations, or Order Management.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll inputs, and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
- Experience with ADX, WinTeam, LISA, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical and data reconciliation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
