Job Title: Processing Analyst (Web Crawler)
Location: Thane / Chennai
Experience: 2–8 Years

Job Description

We are looking for a Processing Analyst (Web Crawler) with experience in website research and web technologies. The role involves researching websites, identifying relevant information and URLs, and setting up robots using client tools based on defined guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct website research to identify newsworthy and relevant information.
Identify URLs and configure robots using client tools.
Understand website coding, design, HTML tags and website structure for robot setup.
Write basic scripts to resolve website-related issues while setting up robots.
Use browser developer tools to understand website design and HTML elements.
Identify relevant HTML tags and utilize them during robot configuration.
Communicate with customers to understand requirements and resolve queries.
Handle process-related tickets and follow up within defined timelines.
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
Work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Required Skills & Competencies

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong comprehension and problem-solving skills.
Good internet browsing and website technology knowledge.
Basic knowledge of HTML/XML and JavaScript.
Knowledge of browser developer tools and HTML tags.
Good MS Office skills.
Strong planning, decision-making and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Website research and website technology experience.
Basic scripting knowledge is preferred.
Web development certification/course completion is an added advantage.

Education & Experience

UG/PG degree, preferably from a Computer Applications / Computer Science background.
Minimum 2 years of experience in website technologies.
Basic understanding of HTML/XML and JavaScript is required.

Work Requirements

Willingness to work in any shift, including night shifts.
Willingness to work on weekends based on business/project requirements.
Flexible to work across different teams and business requirements.
