About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Spanish Payroll Specialist with strong Spanish language proficiency and hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Spain payroll regulations, statutory deductions, IRPF, Seguridad Social and collective bargaining agreements (Convenios).

Key Responsibilities

1. Process end-to-end payroll for hourly and salaried employees according to client payroll schedules.

2. Calculate and validate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, taxes and payroll adjustments.

3. Review timekeeping records and employee payroll changes to ensure accuracy.

4. Maintain payroll and employment records in compliance with statutory and country-specific regulations.

5. Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines.

6. Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, benefits and employee updates.

7. Maintain payroll data using HRIS and payroll processing systems.

8. Ensure timely payroll delivery, confidentiality and compliance with internal policies.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• 3–8 years of overall relevant experience.

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on payroll processing, payroll systems or HRIS experience.

• Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Spain Payroll regulations.

• Knowledge of IRPF (Personal Income Tax).

• Knowledge of Seguridad Social contributions.

• Understanding of statutory benefits and collective bargaining agreements (Convenios).

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliation.

• Exposure to ADP, Paychex, Deel, SAP, Workday or similar payroll platforms.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, time management and confidentiality.

Good to Have

Multicountry payroll experience covering the US, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia or other international markets.

Important Eligibility Criteria

• Must be comfortable working from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST.

• Former TCS employees are not eligible.

• PAN and Date of Birth are required for candidate profile creation during recruitment.
