RTR SME – Chartered Accountant (CA)

Location: Noida
Experience: 8–10 Years
Shift: ANZ Shift (Starting between 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM IST)
Work Mode: Work From Office

Educational Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Must-Have Skills

CA qualification with strong Record to Report (RTR) subject matter expertise.
Proven experience working as an RTR Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Hands-on experience in process transitions and customer management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience preparing dashboards and management reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. RTR Operations & Accounting

Handle complex RTR processes, exception transactions and high-volume accounting activities.
Prepare and post journal entries, perform month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
Manage fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, cash reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations.
Investigate outstanding reconciliation items and drive them to closure.
Complete assigned activities according to the customer's Statement of Work (SOW).
Meet turnaround time (TAT) and accuracy targets.

2. Quality Assurance & Risk Management

Perform quality checks on work completed by Senior Associates and SMEs and provide constructive feedback.
Identify internal control gaps and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks.
Identify potential errors, implement corrective measures and prevent recurring issues.
Conduct self-assessments to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned activities.

3. Customer & Stakeholder Management

Provide daily progress updates to customers through emails and calls.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present dashboards and performance reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
Provide hourly and end-of-day (EOD) activity status reports.

4. Process Improvement & Team Support

Identify process gaps and implement appropriate controls.
Drive process improvement initiatives and ensure timely closure.
Act as a buddy and mentor to new joiners and Senior Associates requiring operational support.
Support transition activities and ensure smooth process execution.

Working Conditions

Work from the office is mandatory.
Must be comfortable working ANZ shifts starting between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM IST.
Willingness to work extended hours during month-end and quarter-end closing, or to resolve errors and backlogs.
Unscheduled leave requires prior approval from the Team Lead.
