Lead Procurement Excellence

What You'll Do
As a Procurement & Vendor Master Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth procurement operations while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.
Procurement Operations
Review and validate purchase requisitions before converting them into Purchase Orders (POs).
Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders in accordance with business requirements and procurement policies.
Validate approvals and required documentation before issuing Purchase Orders.
Process Purchase Order amendments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor Purchase Order confirmations and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely acknowledgment.
Expedite Purchase Orders to support business timelines and operational requirements.
Vendor Management
Act as the primary point of contact for procurement-related queries from requesters, buyers, and suppliers.
Resolve vendor and stakeholder issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless procurement operations.
Reporting & Process Excellence
Generate and analyze procurement reports using reporting tools.
Monitor procurement performance, identify exceptions, and implement corrective actions.
Escalate critical issues proactively and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and turnaround time (TAT).
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Support and guide team members to achieve operational goals.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the procurement team.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Vendor Management, or Procurement Operations.
Strong experience handling transactional procurement processes and Purchase Order management.
Hands-on experience working with SAP ERP or similar enterprise procurement systems.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Proven experience leading or mentoring teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
