Salary: Up to ₹9.0 LPA (Up to ₹75,000 per month gross CTC)

Education & Qualifications

Education Requirement: Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time formal education (10 + 2 + 3 or equivalent).
Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).
Professional Qualifications: Qualified or Semi-Qualified CA / CMA (ICWA) / CPA / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Record to Report (RTR) Analyst to join our General Accounting team in Chennai. In this role, you will execute core General Ledger activities, month-end financial close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting support. Working within SAP / SAP S/4HANA environments, you will ensure high accuracy, quality, and strict adherence to Turnaround Time (TAT) and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting & Month-End Close:
- Perform day-to-day transactional accounting, including journal entry posting, fixed asset accounting, and internal order creation.
- Execute period-end and month-end financial close activities accurately within target timelines.
- Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, maintain query logs, and resolve accounting variances promptly.
Reporting, Systems & Quality Support:
- Assist in compiling financial reports and schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support system upgrades, functional testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for accounting workflows.
- Coordinate across finance, procurement, and Accounts Payable (AP) stakeholders to resolve discrepancy logs and maintain seamless financial operations.
- Ensure daily targets, quality benchmarks, and accuracy metrics are consistently met or exceeded.

Required Knowledge & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:
- General Ledger (GL): Solid expertise in General Ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- ERP Systems: Hands-on experience working in SAP / SAP S/4HANA (including SAP VIM/AP integration exposure).
- Data & Office Tools: Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced MS Excel for data analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to Fixed Assets (FA) accounting, internal orders, and UAT execution.
- Familiarity with audit support and standardized finance transformation processes.
