Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager – Indirect Categories
Role/Skill: Category Manager – Indirect Sourcing
Location: Hyderabad

Shift: Rotational & Flexible (Willingness to work in US shift timings required)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category management for indirect spend areas such as IT, Marketing, Facilities, Travel, and Professional Services. The role involves driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and delivering measurable cost savings while ensuring compliance and efficiency across procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long-term (1–5 years) category strategies
Perform end-to-end spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
Lead RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including vendor evaluation and negotiations
Build strong business cases with cost, risk, and value analysis
Manage supplier relationships for quality, innovation, and cost efficiency
Negotiate contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and pricing models in collaboration with Legal
Partner with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Facilities
Drive supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
Utilize SAP/Ariba for procurement efficiency and compliance
Ensure audit readiness and adherence to sourcing policies
Required Skills:
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management (Indirect Spend)
RFx execution and vendor negotiations
Contract management and commercial negotiation
Spend analytics and business case development
Supplier performance and risk management
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4, Ariba, or similar tools
Eligibility Criteria (Must Have):
8–10 years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing
Proven expertise in handling complex RFx and negotiations
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience with procurement tools like SAP/Ariba
Strong financial and analytical skills
Good to Have:
Experience in IT Services, Professional Services, or Manufacturing
Exposure to global sourcing models
Basic understanding of contract law and risk management
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain / Business / Engineering / Finance)
MBA or Master’s degree – Preferred
Certifications like CIPS / CPSM / ISM – Preferred
Expectations:
Drive sourcing strategies and deliver measurable savings
Ensure compliance, governance, and audit readiness
Build strong stakeholder partnerships
Lead supplier consolidation and performance tracking
Support procurement transformation initiatives
