What You'll Do

As a Direct Sourcing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting procurement operations by coordinating suppliers, managing sourcing activities, and delivering commercial value across direct material categories.

Direct Sourcing & Procurement

Execute sourcing events for assigned direct material categories.
Manage supplier outreach, RFQs/RFPs, bid analysis, and commercial evaluations.
Support negotiations and supplier selection to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
Ensure sourcing activities align with quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Supplier Management

Coordinate supplier onboarding, qualification, and documentation.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.
Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, and supply continuity.
Participate in supplier review meetings and support supplier performance improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Planning, Procurement Operations, Finance, and Business teams.
Understand material requirements, technical specifications, and sourcing priorities.
Coordinate sourcing activities to support production schedules and business needs.
Resolve procurement and supplier-related issues through effective stakeholder collaboration.

Commercial Analysis & Reporting

Analyze supplier pricing, procurement spend, and market trends.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier optimization, and process improvements.
Maintain sourcing records, pricing documentation, supplier databases, and contract trackers.
Prepare procurement reports and support management decision-making through data analysis.

Compliance & Process Improvement

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, delegated authority, governance standards, and audit requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, supplier management, and procurement workflows.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure process discipline.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Engineering
- Business Administration
- Commerce
- Or a related discipline
2–7 years of experience in:
- Direct Procurement
- Strategic Sourcing
- Purchasing
- Category Support
- Supplier Management
- Procurement Operations
Experience working with suppliers, sourcing events, and procurement processes.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
