Finance & Accounts – JDE Finance Functional Consultant

Location: Noida
Experience: 7–10 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced JDE Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) and Finance & Accounting processes. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, mapping them to JDE solutions, supporting end-to-end finance processes, and working with stakeholders across global delivery environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, P2P, O2C, and R2R, along with experience in full-cycle JDE implementations.

Education

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Non-technical graduation and/or master's degree in Finance & Accounts, such as B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter.
Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent with ERP certification/proficiency.
Master's degree or CA qualification is preferred.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Strong ERP application knowledge.
Minimum 2 full-cycle JDE project implementations.
Strong expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1).
Functional expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
End-to-end understanding of P2P, O2C, and R2R business processes.
Ability to gather, analyze, and map business requirements to JDE solutions.
Experience preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documentation.
Ability to define functional and technical specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong customer interaction and relationship management skills.
Experience working in a Global Delivery Model (Onsite/Offshore).

Key Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and translate them into effective JDE EnterpriseOne solutions.
Analyze and document existing AS-IS business processes.
Design and document TO-BE processes aligned with business requirements.
Prepare functional and technical specifications.
Support and participate in end-to-end JDE implementation projects.
Work across Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
Understand and support integrated finance processes across P2P, O2C, and R2R.
Troubleshoot functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and stakeholders.
Support issues beyond the core functional module when required.
Manage stakeholder communication and ensure effective customer engagement.
Work effectively within onsite/offshore global delivery teams.
Ensure solutions align with business requirements and operational needs.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Contract Billing and Service Billing modules.
Understanding of interaction between different JDE modules.
Experience troubleshooting issues across multiple modules.
Consulting experience across multiple JDE E1 implementations.
Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar IT Service Management tools.
Strong customer-centric mindset.
Strong stakeholder communication skills.
