Lead Global HR Technology Transformation

Are you a seasoned HRIS professional with deep expertise in Workday? Join  as a Senior HRIS Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting, configuring, and enhancing enterprise-wide HR technology solutions for global stakeholders.

In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with functional HR knowledge to optimize Workday processes, support global HR operations, and drive continuous improvement across the Absence Management, Benefits, and Talent Management modules.

What You'll Do

As a Senior HRIS Specialist, you will own the end-to-end support, configuration, governance, and optimization of the Workday platform while partnering with HR, Payroll, HR Shared Services, and business leaders worldwide.

HRIS Operations & Support

  • Provide end-to-end support for Workday across multiple HR modules.

  • Deliver L1, L2, and L3 support by resolving complex system issues and ensuring platform stability.

  • Perform root cause analysis for configuration, integration, and process-related issues.

  • Reproduce and troubleshoot issues in sandbox environments before deploying solutions.

  • Maintain knowledge articles, SOPs, FAQs, and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs).

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system communications during enhancements and releases.

Workday Configuration & Administration

  • Configure and maintain business processes, workflows, notifications, routing logic, eligibility rules, and validation controls.

  • Build and manage calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and security configurations.

  • Develop and govern Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) templates, including field mappings and validation rules.

  • Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Release & Change Management

  • Lead Workday biannual release (R1 & R2) planning and execution.

  • Assess release impacts and recommend feature adoption aligned with business needs.

  • Define regression testing strategies and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with global stakeholders.

  • Implement and validate system enhancements following each Workday release.

Business Transformation & Onboarding

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to gather requirements for new business units and HR initiatives.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.

  • Support data migration, configuration, testing, deployment, hypercare, and user adoption.

  • Deliver change management activities and user training where required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through system enhancements and automation.

  • Prioritize HRIS enhancement requests based on business value, effort, and risk.

  • Ensure Workday capabilities remain aligned with organizational HR and technology strategies.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of HRIS experience, including:

    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Workday experience

    • Experience with PeopleSoft or another enterprise HRIS platform

  • Strong configuration expertise in:

    • Workday Absence Management

    • Workday Benefits

    • Workday Talent Management

  • Deep understanding of:

    • Workday Business Process Framework

    • Calculated Fields

    • Reporting & Dashboards

    • Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

    • Workday Security

  • Experience managing global Workday release cycles and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and HR technology best practices.

  • Experience supporting global HR operations across multiple countries and regions.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or supporting global Workday deployments.

  • Exposure to multi-country HR governance and compliance requirements.

  • Knowledge of HR Shared Services and Payroll integrations.

  • Experience driving HRIS transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
