Hiring: Talent Acquisition – Onboarding Specialist
Location: Mumbai (Olympus) / Bangalore (Think Campus)
Experience: 3–6 Years
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end pre-hire onboarding process for international hiring programs. In this role, you will ensure every new hire experiences a smooth, compliant, and engaging onboarding journey while partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR teams.
If you have hands-on experience in US or international onboarding, HR operations, and HR systems such as Workday or SuccessFactors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced global team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete pre-hire onboarding activities for new employees.
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the onboarding process.
Coordinate pre-boarding activities, orientation schedules, and first-day logistics.
Schedule joining dates and onboarding events.
Process background verification and drug screening requests based on business requirements.
Review background verification and screening results to provide onboarding clearance.
Update candidate records and hiring status in Workday and other HR systems.
Send Day-1 communication to candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Partner with Talent Acquisition teams, hiring managers, and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Maintain onboarding trackers, reports, documentation, and compliance records.
Support global onboarding initiatives and continuously improve onboarding processes.
Required Skills
3–6 years of experience in Candidate Onboarding or HR Operations.
Experience in US onboarding or any international onboarding process is mandatory.
Strong understanding of pre-hire onboarding workflows.
Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, or similar systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management abilities.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
High attention to detail and strong customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience working in Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS).
Knowledge of onboarding automation tools.
Understanding of US employment documentation, compliance, and hiring processes.
