The Role

Are you a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java and Angular? Do you thrive on building scalable enterprise applications across both backend and frontend development?

We are looking for a high-caliber Software/Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will work across both backend and frontend development, building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and architects to deliver high-quality software solutions.

If you have 2.5–4 years of hands-on software development experience and a passion for building robust, responsive applications, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.
Backend Development: Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Frontend Development: Build responsive, reusable, and maintainable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
Integration: Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs and third-party services.
Business Logic: Design and implement business logic following established architecture and coding standards.
Database Management: Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
Testing: Write unit tests and participate in integration and functional testing.
Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Collaboration: Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Architects, and other development teams.
Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.
Production Support: Support application deployment and production issue resolution when required.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 2.5 – 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript for frontend development.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend applications.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
Location: Based in Malaysia or willing to relocate.
