Hiring: SSRS Developer / Data Engineer (MSSQL / SSIS) | Kuala Lumpur

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Salary: RM 4,000 - 6,000

Nationality: Local Malaysians Only

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

We are looking for a reporting-focused Data Engineer with strong SSRS development experience to support project delivery and production operations in a banking / enterprise environment.

Education:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related disciplines

Experience:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server technologies

- Strong hands-on experience in SSRS report development

- Experience supporting production reporting environments

- Banking or financial services experience is an advantage

Technical Skills:

MSSQL Scripting (T-SQL), Stored Procedures, SSIS, SQL Server Agent, PowerShell, SSH / SFTP File Transfer, PGP/GPG Encryption and Decryption, MSSQL Administration, Python Scripting

Technical Competencies:

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) - Intermediate (Primary Skill)

- Report development and maintenance

- Paginated reports

- Parameterised reports

- Subscriptions and scheduling

- Dataset and data source management

- Report performance optimisation

- Troubleshooting reporting issues

- User requirement analysis and report design

Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) - Intermediate

- Advanced T-SQL

- Stored Procedures

- Functions

- Views and Triggers

- Query optimisation and tuning

- SQL Server Agent job support

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) - Intermediate

- ETL package development

- Data migration and transformation

- Package deployment and troubleshooting

- Scheduling and automation

System Integration - Intermediate

- Interface development and support

- Data mapping and reconciliation

- File-based integration

- Batch processing support

Preferred Skills:

- Power BI

- Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts

- Azure Data Factory
