We are looking for a Japanese-speaking Customer Support Associate to join our growing customer support team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to Japanese-speaking customers through voice support while ensuring high-quality customer experiences.

This is a full-time onsite opportunity with visa sponsorship available for eligible international candidates.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Handle inbound customer calls and provide prompt, accurate, and professional assistance.

  • Resolve customer inquiries while ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Escalate priority issues according to established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

  • Keep up to date with process improvements and product updates.

  • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Service Excellence

  • Deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

  • Meet established quality standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

  • Complete scheduled working hours as assigned.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • University Graduate (including graduates completing studies in 2026) – No work experience required.

  • Vocational College Graduate – Minimum 4–5 years of work experience.

  • High School Graduate – Minimum 7–8 years of work experience.

Language Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese or JLPT N1 certification.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Japanese.

  • Basic English communication skills for internal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or contact center experience.

  • Experience supporting Ecommerce customers is an advantage.

  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work rotational shifts.

  • Morning and Afternoon Shifts

  • Shift allowance applicable for eligible afternoon shifts

Recruitment Process

  • Resume Screening

  • Japanese Language Assessment (JP LAT)

  • Japanese Typing Test

  • Operations Interview (1–2 Rounds)

Important Notes

  • Visa sponsorship is available for eligible international candidates. Visa processing typically takes approximately 3–4 months after document submission.
