Machine Operator (Bend – CNC Press Brake)

Location: Balakong, Selangor, Malaysia

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator (Bend – CNC Press Brake) to operate CNC press brake machines and produce precision metal-fabricated parts according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines to produce precision parts.
Verify finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
Perform operational activities related to bending machines.
Liaise with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure smooth material and component flow.
Maintain and improve workplace housekeeping standards.
Support training activities when required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of direct experience operating CNC Press Brake machines in the Metal Fabrication industry.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering-specified tolerances.
Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of machine setup and ability to change machinery for different product lines and material requirements.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Minimum Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Physically fit and able to perform required duties.
Independent self-starter with good teamwork skills.
Able to work effectively with employees at all levels.

Working Hours

Initially: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
Subsequently, the role will move to a 12-hour shift system:
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
