Software Developer (Full Stack) – Java & Angular

Location: Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2.5–4 Years
Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000 per month, depending on experience and technical proficiency

About the Role

We are looking for a Software / Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular with 3–4 years of hands-on development experience. The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend development, building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
Implement business logic following coding and architecture standards.
Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
Write unit tests and participate in integration and functional testing.
Participate in code reviews and improve overall code quality.
Collaborate with QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, and development teams.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Support application deployment and production issue resolution when required.

Required Skills & Experience

3–4 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of OOP, RESTful APIs, exception handling, logging, and application security.
Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Angular forms, routing, services, and state management.
Experience with Git/Git-based source control.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

Microservices architecture experience.
Docker and containerisation knowledge.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Azure or AWS.
Kubernetes knowledge.
Kafka or RabbitMQ experience.
Automated testing frameworks.
Experience in enterprise, banking, financial services, or regulated applications.
Knowledge of application performance optimisation and security best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
