Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000 per month, depending on experience and technical proficiency

About the Role

We are looking for a Software / Full Stack Developer – Java & Angular with 3–4 years of hands-on development experience. The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend development, building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.

• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.

• Implement business logic following coding and architecture standards.

• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.

• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.

• Write unit tests and participate in integration and functional testing.

• Participate in code reviews and improve overall code quality.

• Collaborate with QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, and development teams.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Support application deployment and production issue resolution when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.

• Strong understanding of OOP, RESTful APIs, exception handling, logging, and application security.

• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Angular forms, routing, services, and state management.

• Experience with Git/Git-based source control.

• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.

• Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Microservices architecture experience.

• Docker and containerisation knowledge.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Azure or AWS.

• Kubernetes knowledge.

• Kafka or RabbitMQ experience.

• Automated testing frameworks.

• Experience in enterprise, banking, financial services, or regulated applications.

• Knowledge of application performance optimisation and security best practices.
