Job Summary:

A Tech Lead in SQL are responsible for Data & AI field of the company. They will work during normal office hours but may be required extra working hours and work on weekends depending on the work load. Salary is to be discussed with the BPO partner.

Must have skills:

1. Experience on Enterprise SQL Server 2016-2022 environments

2. Architect and implement SQL database High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies using AlwaysOn, replication, log shipping etc.

3. Perform SQL Server performance analysis which includes reviewing query plans, index usage, and TSQL code reviews.

4. Worked with developers and business analysts to create, modify, and tune database structures.

5. Collaborated with application and infrastructure teams to identify solutions to complex

problems and test/ implement new database features.

6. Complete requests from application teams for database changes, security changes, data

loads, etc.

7. Experience on Replication failure errors and take necessary steps.

8. Install and support SQL Server BI components including SSIS, SSRS and SSAS

9. Manage database backups and maintain recovery policies and procedures.

10. Support ongoing and future database projects based on technology roadmaps.

11. Maintain configuration information for the enterprise SQL Server environment, including details for server, storage, software versions, criticality, confidentiality, licensing, capacity, and ownership.

12. Solving performance problems, query tuning, and optimization.

13. SQL code reviews with ability to dissect query plan, T-SQL code

14. SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services

15. Perform SQL Server software installations, patching, and upgrades.

16. Responsible for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of complex Windows environments (e.g., clustering, high availability, load balancing, etc.).

17. Experience on Storage management techniques , Data Engine Capacity planning, general database management, Policy based management, Extended events and Traces.

18. Exposure to Basic Licensing and support scenarios

Good to have skills:

1. Working knowledge of DDL, DML, TSQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints, cursors

2. Experience with PowerShell, including using PowerShell to automate repeatable tasks.

3. Use of PowerShell DSC for automating SQL Server installations and configuration

4. Experience with Visual Studio for the creation and maintenance of SSRS reports and SSIS

packages.

5. Exposure to SQL Server Reporting service ,SQL server Integration Service ,SQL Server Analysis Service
