Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Buyer with 5–7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in Sourcing & Procurement. The role involves leading a team, managing client relationships, monitoring operational performance, handling escalations, and ensuring delivery of quality procurement services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, motivate, and develop the procurement team.

• Monitor team performance, delivery, quality, and exceptions.

• Conduct regular internal reviews with the team and leadership.

• Identify potential operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities and contract administration.

• Ensure operational, functional, and business objectives are achieved as per contractual requirements.

• Manage client relationships and ensure effective stakeholder communication.

• Handle escalations and drive timely resolution.

• Provide process training and support to team members.

• Conduct employee assessments and effectively channelize workflow.

• Enable solutions and drive process improvements and business results.

• Support documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.

• Strong experience in Sourcing & Procurement.

• Experience dealing with domestic and international suppliers/customers.

• Experience in Supply Chain services across different business groups/functions.

• Strong team handling and people management skills.

• Good understanding of procurement operations and contract administration.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation-management abilities.

• Good knowledge of MS Office.

• Exposure to Oracle, SAP, or ERP Sourcing Modules is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in B.Com, BMS, BBA, MBA, or a related field. Educational qualifications may be flexible based on relevant experience.

Certifications

Supply Chain Management certifications/courses are preferred but optional.
