About the Role

We are looking for skilled and motivated Collections Specialists to join our UK Financial Collections team under Project Motor. The ideal candidate will have experience handling international collections accounts and will be responsible for delivering positive customer outcomes while achieving collection targets through effective negotiation and communication.

Responsibilities

Manage collections activities for UK financial accounts while maintaining professionalism and compliance standards.
Communicate with customers to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances.
Apply effective negotiation strategies to maximize recovery while maintaining customer relationships.
Accurately document account activities and maintain records of customer interactions.
Work closely with team leaders and stakeholders to achieve collection goals and performance metrics.
Contribute to process improvements and support overall team success.

Qualifications

High School Graduate (Old Curriculum), Senior High School Graduate, or at least 2nd Year College Completed up to College Graduate.
Minimum of 1 year collections experience handling UK, US, or AU clients in any industry.
Good negotiation skills with proper and assertive communication.
Understanding of the collections domain and comfortable dealing with international customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts while meeting performance targets.
Customer-focused mindset with a professional approach to collections.

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in financial collections or banking-related accounts.

Experience handling high-volume collections environments.
Ability to contribute to process improvements and mentor peers when needed.
