## Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Risk Officer to oversee risk management, operational controls, compliance, and security-related activities within the BPO/Shared Services industry supporting the UK Banking and Financial Services sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, operational risk controls, information security standards, and regulatory compliance. The role requires excellent analytical, decision-making, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

## Key Responsibilities

- Establish, assess, monitor, and report operational and systemic risks across business operations.

- Ensure consistent implementation of risk management controls across multiple lines of business.

- Monitor compliance with contractual risk requirements, internal policies, and operational standards.

- Develop and track corrective and remedial action plans to mitigate identified risks.

- Investigate security incidents and support Ombuds-related investigations when required.

- Maintain strong relationships with clients, business leaders, risk teams, and other key stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and other applicable information security standards.

- Maintain awareness of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements, including PCI-DSS, SSAE, and HIPAA.

- Support location-level crisis management activities and communicate emerging risks to delivery leaders.

- Provide guidance on the risk management framework, business risk profiles, and appropriate mitigation measures.

- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness and quality.

- Align local risk management activities with organizational risk strategies and operational efficiency objectives.

## Mandatory Skills

- 5–6 years of experience as a Risk Officer or in a relevant risk management role within the BPO/Shared Services industry.

- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, controls, and operational risk assessment.

- Hands-on experience in operations, quality processes, compliance, and control monitoring.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Strong communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.

- Ability to identify risks, investigate issues, and recommend effective corrective actions.

## Preferred Skills

- Experience in compliance, information security, and data privacy.

- Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SSAE, and HIPAA requirements.

- Exposure to Voice or Collections Line of Business (LOB).

- Experience supporting banking, financial services, or regulated business operations.

- Familiarity with crisis management, incident investigation, and remediation tracking.

## Qualifications

- College graduate in any discipline.

- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience as a Risk Officer within the BPO/Shared Services industry.

- Ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and manage competing priorities.

- Willingness to work onsite in Eton Centris, Quezon City, on a shifting schedule.
