WE’RE HIRING: Malware Engineer Specialist / Team Lead – CL 9
Are you an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in malware analysis, reverse engineering, incident response, and threat hunting?
We’re looking for a skilled Malware Engineer Specialist / Team Lead to join our cybersecurity team and help strengthen our ability to detect, analyze, and respond to evolving threats.
Location: Uptown BGC, Taguig
Work Setup: Onsite
Schedule: Shifting
Salary: 90000-110000
What You’ll Do
Analyze and reverse engineer malware to understand its behavior, capabilities, and potential impact.
Perform both static and dynamic malware analysis.
Develop actionable threat intelligence based on your findings.
Support incident response investigations involving malware-related threats.
Work closely with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Intelligence teams to improve detection and response.
Develop and maintain detection rules, signatures, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
Share technical knowledge and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity defenses and response strategies.
What We’re Looking For
At least 3 years of experience in Malware Analysis, Malware Engineering, or Reverse Engineering.
Strong knowledge of malware behavior, attack techniques, and threat actor methodologies.
Good understanding of Windows and Linux internals and operating systems.
Hands-on experience with tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, x64dbg, OllyDbg, or malware sandbox environments.
Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and incident response.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
