QA Automation Developer (Playwright) & Performance Tester (JMeter) – Mid to Senior Level
Location: Taguig, Philippines
Work Setup: Hybrid
Shift: Mid Shift & Night Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a Mid to Senior-level QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Test Automation, Playwright, and Apache JMeter. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable End-to-End (E2E) testing frameworks using Playwright and executing sophisticated performance testing scenarios using JMeter.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and scale E2E test automation frameworks using Playwright.
Develop and execute performance and load-testing scenarios using Apache JMeter.
Apply modern Playwright locators, auto-waiting, async/await patterns, and Page Object Model (POM) design principles.
Create advanced JMeter scripts using parameterization, assertions, correlation, and distributed testing.
Manage end-to-end test cycles and evaluate user stories and technical feasibility.
Identify, document, track, and analyze software defects.
Analyze load behavior, performance metrics, and test results to identify infrastructure and application bottlenecks.
Collaborate with development, QA, and other technical teams to ensure application quality and performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality practices.
Required Qualifications
4 to 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong focus on Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and E2E test automation framework development.
Deep understanding of Playwright locators, auto-waiting, async/await, and Page Object Model (POM).
Extensive hands-on experience with Apache JMeter, including parameterization, assertions, distributed testing, and correlation of dynamic values.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with Shell Scripting.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and test cycles.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret performance and load-testing metrics.
