Senior Finance SPR Delivery Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance SPR Delivery Manager to lead complex Finance migration and transformation initiatives for a leading global investment bank. The ideal candidate will have substantial delivery or programme management experience in banking or regulated financial services, with strong expertise in integrated planning, dependency management, risk governance, testing, migration, and implementation readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of one or more Finance migration scopes.

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, critical paths, and dependency maps.

• Align technology releases, business testing windows, sign-offs, and go-live schedules.

• Conduct scenario and recovery planning for at-risk milestones, defining clear ownership, decisions, and delivery impacts.

• Track deliverables, actions, and completion criteria while facilitating stand-ups, workstream reviews, and executive steering meetings.

• Resolve cross-functional dependencies and blockers, challenging delivery plans and supporting evidence where necessary.

• Maintain RAID logs and decision records, assign mitigation actions, and escalate significant risks with impact assessments and recommendations.

• Coordinate end-to-end testing, including environments, data, scenarios, schedules, defect triage, and approvals.

• Ensure complete testing evidence, formal sign-offs, and implementation-readiness documentation for each migration population.

• Coordinate Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, and programme stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 12–16 years of overall professional experience.

• Substantial delivery or programme management experience in banking or regulated financial services.

• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional banking change initiatives.

• Strong integrated planning, milestone tracking, critical-path analysis, and dependency management skills.

• Expertise in RAID management, decision logs, escalations, and recovery planning.

• Experience coordinating testing governance, defect management, evidence collection, sign-offs, and implementation readiness.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Finance processes and front-to-back investment banking transformation.

• Data migration, legal-entity activation, or regulatory delivery experience.

• Executive steering committee coordination and senior stakeholder reporting.

• Knowledge of banking controls, operational readiness, and change adoption.
