Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to design and guide scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective enterprise technology solutions. The successful candidate will translate business requirements into practical architecture designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation strategies while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.

This role requires a strong technical foundation across software engineering, cloud platforms, infrastructure, automation, systems integration, and DevOps practices. The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, enterprise architects, security specialists, and operations teams to drive technology decisions and deliver sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and technical constraints into solution architectures, design specifications, and implementation plans.

• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical direction for complex enterprise initiatives.

• Evaluate technology alternatives and recommend solutions based on scalability, security, cost, performance, and maintainability.

• Develop target-state architectures, transition strategies, and technology roadmaps.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, operational challenges, and technical debt throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Facilitate architecture reviews, technical assessments, design workshops, and proofs of concept.

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, operations, product, and business teams.

• Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and operational readiness expectations.

• Document architecture decisions, design rationale, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

• Guide delivery teams through solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handover.

• Promote architecture reuse, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, database engineering, or related technical disciplines.

• Demonstrated experience designing or guiding enterprise technology solutions in complex environments.

• Strong understanding of solution architecture principles, systems integration, and technical design practices.

• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.

• Understanding of production support, resilience, monitoring, incident management, and lifecycle management.

• Experience working in Agile, SAFe, DevOps, or similar delivery environments.

• Strong stakeholder management, technical communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Technical Skills

• Cloud platforms and enterprise technology services.

• Software and infrastructure engineering fundamentals.

• GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar engineering platforms.

• Programming or scripting with Python, PowerShell, Go, C, or comparable languages.

• REST APIs, JSON, YAML, workflow automation, and systems integration.

• Security, identity management, observability, resilience, and operational supportability.

• Architecture documentation, governance, risk assessment, and technical roadmap development.
