Job Summary

The Analyst (Application Engineer) acts as a strategic liaison between business objectives and technology solutions, ensuring that processes, systems, and stakeholder needs align to deliver measurable value.

This role bridges Business Analysis (workflow optimization, stakeholder engagement, requirements translation) and IT Analysis (technical solution design, system optimization, integration, and application support). You will provide technical support for internal and vendor software, diagnose system issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business & IT Alignment: Translate complex business needs into actionable functional requirements, working closely with Program Managers, Solution Architects, and Digital Delivery teams.
Application Support & Incident Management: Serve as a key technical point of contact to troubleshoot internal/vendor software incidents, diagnose root causes, and ensure continuity of business operations.
API & System Integration: Support and optimize modern software architectures utilizing .NET / C# and REST APIs.
Quality Assurance & UAT Management:
- Define and execute end-to-end testing strategies (unit, functional, regression).
- Build regression test suites to ensure stability post-deployment.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead Business-to-UAT testing, validation, and sign-off prior to release.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Core Experience:

5 to 7 years of experience in a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or Application Engineer role.

Technical Stack:

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with .NET / C# applications and REST APIs / integration patterns.
Preferred: Familiarity with Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps) and modern CI/CD pipelines & automation.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with distributed, cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder alignment abilities.
