Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Architect – SAP MM Inventory Management to identify opportunities that deliver tangible business value by assessing existing processes, gathering high-level requirements, and defining effective business solutions.

The role involves translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions and operating models while supporting transformation initiatives through business case development and implementation guidance. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP MM Inventory Management, inventory management principles, supply chain processes, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Architecture & Process Analysis

Evaluate current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased business value.
Analyze and document business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Capture and understand high-level business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business needs into effective, scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
Ensure proposed solutions align with organizational objectives and business requirements.

SAP MM Inventory Management

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP MM Inventory Management.
Apply SAP MM expertise to design and support business solutions related to inventory and supply chain processes.
Map business requirements to appropriate SAP MM functionalities.
Analyze complex business scenarios and develop scalable solutions.
Understand integration points between SAP MM and other enterprise systems.
Support solution design and implementation activities from a business and functional perspective.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet organizational goals.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business insights and validate requirements.
Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to key decisions.
Work with stakeholders to understand business priorities, requirements, and challenges.
Provide practical solutions to work-related business and process issues.

Transformation & Change Management

Support organizational transformation initiatives and strategic programs.
Develop and support compelling business cases for proposed initiatives.
Guide implementation of key business and technology initiatives.
Support change management activities by communicating business impacts, benefits, and expected outcomes.
Ensure business requirements remain aligned throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Document business processes and create clear, actionable specifications.
Maintain accurate requirements and process documentation.
Continuously update knowledge of SAP, industry trends, and business best practices.
Identify opportunities to enhance solution design and operational effectiveness.
Promote best practices and continuous improvement across business processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP MM Inventory Management.
Expert proficiency in SAP MM Inventory Management.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
Experience mapping business requirements to SAP MM functionalities.
Experience analyzing complex business scenarios and designing scalable solutions.
Familiarity with SAP MM integration points with other enterprise systems.
Strong business process documentation and requirements analysis skills.
Ability to work independently and perform as an SME.
