JOB TITLE: Cloud Platform Engineer

WORK SET UP: Onsite in Cebu City

WORK SHIFT: Shifting

SALARY: Confidential

Summary: Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME.

• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

• Responsible for team decisions.

• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall performance.

• Monitor and evaluate team progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure project milestones are met

• Develop and implement best practices for cloud application solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Mainframe Operating System.

• Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with AS/400 CLP ILE.-

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies.

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.

• Proficiency in scripting languages to automate processes and improve efficiency.

• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Mainframe Operating System.

• Open for those applicants who are currently in the Philippines and already have the right to live and work in this country are eligible for this role
