Key Duties and Responsibilities and nature of the company/business:
- Assisting in the recording, analyzing, and reporting. Role will assist with Shipboard related costs including crew travel, administration, and Global Travel Partners. Additionally, role will assist with recording Shore side General and Administrative costs.
- Position to be filled by highly motivated individual who is devoted to accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the company. Work will require persistent and effective follow-up. Individual will need to be detail oriented to always ensure accuracy of work.
- *Participates in month-end financial close activities including analysis for journal entry preparation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- *Provide timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and supporting documentation with focus on operational efficiencies and GAAP compliance monthly.
- *Monitors and processes workflows/systems to provide accurate and timely output, with focus on increased efficiencies and awareness of adequate controls. Makes recommendations for process improvement.
Note : As for the training within 2-3 Months but will have to confirm with the hiring team first since the training period will differ depending on the position.
Qualifications
•Preparing journal entries; debit and credit entries. Knowledgeable in General ledgers account, accounts reconciliations. Reconciling GL transactions and GL Balances
•1-2 years of working experience
• open for fresh graduates but should be knowledgeable in journal entries and GL . (accounting/finance graduate)
