Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer – Data Architecture to lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable, cloud-native data platforms supporting advanced analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data architecture for large-scale modernization and digital transformation programs.
Design modern data platforms using Azure, AWS, or GCP, including lakehouses, streaming pipelines, and orchestration frameworks.
Implement modern architecture patterns such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Virtualization, and Knowledge Graphs.
Drive adoption of modern data technologies including Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, Kafka, dbt, and Delta Lake.
Develop logical and physical data models for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
Define and implement data governance, metadata management, master data management, security, and access-control strategies.
Evaluate and recommend data platforms, tools, and frameworks aligned with enterprise data strategy.
Support AI/ML platform integration and advanced analytics initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering roles.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Expertise in modern data warehousing/lakehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery.
Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT and data integration tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, Glue, or Airflow.
Experience with real-time/streaming platforms such as Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, metadata management, and data governance.
Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Data Product concepts.
Experience with data cataloging/discovery tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
Knowledge of DevOps, DataOps, and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Experience integrating AI/ML platforms with modern data ecosystems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Important Information

Onsite work in Manila is mandatory.
Candidates must be willing to work a shifting schedule.
