About the Role:

We are looking for an AI & Data Product Counsel - Associate Manager to join a leading Global Tech Company in Mandaluyong. This role sits at the intersection of law, AI, and innovation - ideal for legal professionals passionate about emerging technologies. Open to candidates currently based in the Philippines with the right to live and work in the country.

What You Will Do:

- Serve as product counsel for the AI and Data business, assessing new services and product offerings before they go to market

- Become the go-to subject matter expert in AI and Data for business and asset teams

- Partner closely with cross-functional legal teams including Resale, Strategic Partnering, IP, Data Privacy, Regulatory, and Contracting

- Advise the Contracting team on playbooks, templates, and deal support from a product counsel lens

- Collaborate with Ventures and Acquisitions teams to evaluate potential AI and Data acquisition targets

- Conduct legal research and stay ahead of emerging regulations and trends in LLMs, generative and agentic AI

- Help build and improve processes, tools, and enablement materials including decks, workplans, and guidance documents

What We Are Looking For:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to brief senior leadership effectively

Qualifications:

- Graduate Law degree (JD) and active admission to the Bar in good standing

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate setting, ideally advising on software and AI

- Solid background in AI, software, and non-transactional legal work

- Familiarity with SaaS, Software Licensing, and AI-related contract structures

- Understanding of, or keen interest to learn, regulatory landscapes for AI and Data

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

- Willing and able to work across US time zones

- Fluent in English, strong in both written and verbal communication

- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
