About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Payroll Team Lead / HR Service Payroll Delivery Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll operations while leading a payroll team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services.
This role is ideal for payroll professionals with strong SAP payroll experience, leadership capability, and deep knowledge of Philippine payroll regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery.
Manage the complete end-to-end payroll process, including payroll preparation, validation, and salary processing.
Review payroll calculations, tax deductions, and statutory contributions for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with Philippine payroll legislation and government regulations.
Maintain payroll records and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Resolve payroll-related inquiries, discrepancies, and escalations.
Implement payroll controls and support payroll audits.
Coordinate effectively with HR, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Monitor payroll timelines and ensure all deadlines are consistently met.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on end-to-end payroll processing experience, including:
Payroll execution
Salary processing
Tax computation
Government statutory benefits administration
Minimum 3 years of experience leading or supervising a payroll team
Hands-on experience using SAP for payroll processing
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
Philippine payroll processing
BIR tax regulations
SSS
PhilHealth
Pag-IBIG
Payroll compliance and statutory reporting
Payroll controls and audit processes
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced MS Excel proficiency
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple payroll deadlines
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
