About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Staff Accountant – Supervisor to lead our inventory accounting functions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and procurement teams while supervising a small team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and review inventory accounting processes and reconciliations.

Prepare and review journal entries related to inventory and cost accounting.

Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis.

Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions and adjustments.

Handle large volumes of data for reconciliation and reporting.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Assist with internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Provide guidance to junior staff and streamline processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.

CPA is a plus but not required (strong accounting background is acceptable).

2–3 years of relevant experience in:
- Inventory accounting (not physical/warehouse-related).
- Reconciliation and journal entries (credit/debit).
- Accrual entries, including GL and P&L.
- Analysis of cost of goods and inventory reserves.

Supervisory experience in inventory accounting is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling large datasets.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.

Willing to work night shift under a hybrid setup in Makati.
