Job Overview
We are looking for experienced Malware Engineers who are passionate about malware analysis, reverse engineering, incident response, and threat hunting. The role involves analyzing sophisticated malware, understanding threat behavior, supporting security investigations, developing detection capabilities, and providing technical guidance to strengthen cybersecurity defenses.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering, knowledge of Windows/Linux internals, and the ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly.
Key Responsibilities
Malware Analysis & Reverse Engineering
Analyze and reverse engineer malware to understand threat behavior, functionality, and potential impact.
Perform both static and dynamic malware analysis.
Investigate malware samples and identify malicious behaviors, techniques, and indicators.
Develop actionable threat intelligence based on malware analysis findings.
Use industry-standard malware analysis and reverse engineering tools to investigate threats.
Incident Response & Threat Hunting
Support incident response investigations involving malware-related security incidents.
Conduct technical analysis to determine the nature, scope, and impact of malware activity.
Support threat hunting activities to identify malicious behavior and potential compromises.
Work with security teams to improve malware detection and response capabilities.
Detection Engineering
Develop and maintain detection rules, malware signatures, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
Translate malware analysis findings into actionable detection and prevention mechanisms.
Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Intelligence teams to improve security monitoring and response.
Identify opportunities to strengthen detection capabilities against emerging threats.
Team Collaboration & Technical Leadership
Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, Threat Intelligence, and cybersecurity teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Share malware analysis knowledge, techniques, and best practices.
Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
Partner with stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity defenses and incident response strategies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Malware Analysis, Malware Engineering, Reverse Engineering, or a closely related cybersecurity field.
Strong understanding of malware behavior, attack techniques, and threat actor methodologies.
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux internals and operating systems.
Hands-on experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering tools such as:
IDA Pro
Ghidra
x64dbg
OllyDbg
Malware sandbox environments
Familiarity with networking and cybersecurity principles.
Knowledge of threat analysis and incident response processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must currently be located in the Philippines.
Candidates must already have the legal right to live and work in the Philippines.
Must be amenable to a daily onsite work setup in Uptown BGC, Taguig City.
Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule.
