Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of experience in IT Monitoring, Observability, or related technical roles
3+ years of experience in an IT Architecture role with expertise in Monitoring and Application Performance Management
Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITOM and AIOps, including alert integration
Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Telemetry, and APM
Experience with Azure services and cloud monitoring
Hands-on experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Automation, and API Integration
Experience with DevOps tools and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, and SQL
Knowledge of proactive monitoring using Azure services, telemetry, and synthetic transactions
Understanding of network architecture and security (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI)
Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-wide monitoring, observability, and event management solutions.
Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams across Event Management, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, Grafana, ThousandEyes, and related platforms.
Develop and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability standards.
Design monitoring solutions for SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.
Gather business requirements and deliver scalable, cost-effective monitoring solutions.
Plan and execute monitoring platform upgrades, automation initiatives, and software enhancements.
Drive innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives and automation strategies.
Ensure high availability, performance, and proactive monitoring across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
