SAP HANA DB Administrator

Location: Cebu City, Philippines
Work Setup: Hybrid
Work Shift: Shifting schedule depending on client/project requirements

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA DB Administrator who can independently manage SAP HANA database environments, troubleshoot database issues, optimize performance, and contribute to system enhancements.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, participate in technical discussions, provide solutions to work-related challenges, and develop expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Roles & Responsibilities

Work independently and develop expertise as an SAP HANA Database SME.
Actively participate and contribute to team discussions.
Analyze and provide solutions to database-related issues.
Develop and implement SAP HANA database solutions.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP HANA database issues.
Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements.
Support database management and administration activities.
Stay updated on SAP HANA technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Follow established technical processes, security standards, and operational procedures.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skill: Proficiency in SAP HANA DB Administration.
Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP HANA DB Administration.
Strong understanding of database management principles.
Experience in database performance tuning.
Good knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Studio.
Familiarity with SAP HANA security and authorization concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant SAP HANA DB Administration experience.
Strong technical understanding of SAP HANA database administration.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
Willingness to work on a shifting schedule based on client/project requirements.
Candidates must currently be based in the Philippines and already have the legal right to live and work in the country.
