Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance batch and real-time data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data quality, and optimizing cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing solutions.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for data integration and migration.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
Optimize complex SQL queries for analytical and transactional workloads.
Manage ingestion of structured and semi-structured data (CSV, JSON, Avro, Parquet, etc.).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and workflow issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
Implement best practices for data engineering, monitoring, logging, and debugging.

Required Skills

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including:
- Dataflow
- Cloud Composer
- BigQuery
- Cloud Spanner (preferred)
Experience in batch and real-time data processing.
Strong proficiency in SQL.
Programming experience in Python or Java.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
Experience working with file formats such as CSV, JSON, Avro, and Parquet.
Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of GCP security and governance, including IAM, KMS, and DLP.

Eligibility

Applicants must currently reside in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the country.
Must be willing to work onsite in Manila on a shifting schedule.
Should not have an active or recent application with Accenture.
Should not be currently or recently employed by Accenture.
