Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize our next-generation data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will develop robust batch and streaming data pipelines, handle complex file ingestions, and ensure the reliability of our data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
Create data pipelines and implement ETL/ELT processes.
Optimize complex SQL queries and orchestrate workflows.
Handle batch and real-time/streaming data processing (Pub/Sub to Dataflow).
Monitor, log, and alert using GCP Cloud Monitoring/Cloud Logging.
Ensure data quality and reliability across systems.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years relevant Data Engineering experience – required.
GCP Ecosystem: Strong hands-on experience with Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and BigQuery – required.
Data Streaming: Proven experience with batch and real-time/streaming processing.
Languages: Mastery of SQL; proficiency in Python or Java (Apache Beam/Airflow).
Operations: Strong experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Data Engineering Fundamentals: Data modeling, ETL/ELT, file formats (Avro, Parquet, JSON, CSV).
Nice-to-Have: Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer; CI/CD (Terraform, GitHub Actions); data governance (IAM, KMS, DLP).
Must be based in the Philippines with the right to live and work
