JOB TITLE: Senior Data Scientist

WORK LOCATION: ADB Office, Ortigas, Pasig, Philippines

WORK SHIFT: Day Shift – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Manila Time

WORK SETUP: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Statistical Modeling, Python, SQL, Data Engineering, and Data Visualization. The role will focus on developing data-driven solutions, building scalable data pipelines, creating Power BI dashboards, and translating complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design and develop Machine Learning models and Generative AI solutions to address business requirements and deliver data-driven outcomes.
Perform data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, generate insights, and support business decision-making.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, validation, and reliability.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, deliver solutions, and stay current with emerging Data Science and visualization technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

Programming & Database: Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and data processing.
Data Science & AI: Machine Learning, Generative AI, Statistical Modeling, predictive analytics, and data science methodologies.
Data Engineering: Data pipelines, ETL development, data quality, data validation, and scalable data processing.
Cloud & Visualization: Azure Data Ecosystem/Azure Cloud, AWS, Power BI, and Data Visualization.
Professional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, data storytelling, communication, stakeholder management, and experience working in Agile environments.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Data Science or related roles.
Proven experience in Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Generative AI.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
Experience with Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms, with Azure Data Ecosystem experience preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.
Experience working in Agile teams and with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively with senior executives and diverse, multicultural stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Advanced degrees or certifications in Machine Learning or AI are an advantage.

IMPORTANT NOTES :

Hybrid work arrangement: Employees are required to report onsite 3 days per week at ADB Office, Ortigas, Pasig.
Work schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Manila Time.
