Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards. The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on technical experience with architectural expertise to guide technology decisions, support complex initiatives, and translate business requirements into practical solution designs.

The role involves collaborating with engineering, operations, security, product, enterprise architecture, and business teams to establish technical direction, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure solutions remain maintainable, supportable, and sustainable throughout their lifecycle.

Candidates with strong hands-on technical experience and relevant project delivery backgrounds are highly preferred. Relevant architecture and implementation projects should be clearly highlighted in the latest CV.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, technical constraints, and enterprise standards into practical architecture options, solution designs, and implementation guidance.

• Lead architecture discussions and establish technical direction for strategic initiatives and complex business challenges.

• Evaluate technology options, assess trade-offs, and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Design scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable, and cost-effective enterprise technology solutions.

• Develop target-state architectures, transition strategies, solution roadmaps, and implementation plans.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, technical debt, and operational impacts early in the delivery lifecycle.

• Facilitate solution discovery sessions, architecture reviews, technical assessments, proof-of-concept activities, and design workshops.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, product, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and informed decision-making.

• Guide delivery teams through planning, design, implementation, and operational readiness.

• Ensure solutions align with approved architecture, enterprise standards, and expected business outcomes.

• Communicate architecture decisions, recommendations, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Promote technology simplification, standardization, automation, reuse, and continuous improvement.

• Consider security, identity, resiliency, observability, monitoring, incident management, and lifecycle support in architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, automation, database engineering, or related technical disciplines.

• Experience designing, leading, or guiding enterprise technology solutions in complex environments.

• Hands-on technical experience supporting or working with production environments.

• Strong understanding of operational supportability, resiliency, monitoring, incident management, lifecycle management, and operational readiness.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Experience leading technical discussions, influencing decisions, documenting design rationale, and establishing architecture direction across multiple teams.

• Ability to evaluate alternative technologies, manage trade-offs, and make sound architecture recommendations.

• Experience identifying and managing technical, operational, delivery, and organizational risks.

• Experience developing solution roadmaps, transition strategies, and implementation plans.

• Experience working across multiple technology, operational, and business domains.

• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, DevOps, or similar delivery environments.
