Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 days onsite – Quezon City)

Shift: Night Shift

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance system reliability, observability, and operational efficiency across our cloud platforms. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer with strong expertise in monitoring, automation, and performance optimization within Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement monitoring and observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and ServiceNow Event Management.
Develop standards, patterns, and automation strategies to improve system reliability and reduce alert noise.
Partner with product and operations teams to implement SLI/SLO-driven practices and improve incident response efficiency.
Build and maintain monitoring pipelines, dashboards, and alerting systems across platforms.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including reducing MTTR and enhancing operational performance.
Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and observability standards.
Support governance, compliance, and monitoring strategy alignment across teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in monitoring, observability, or SRE roles with hands-on expertise in Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and KQL.
Strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM), telemetry, and log analytics.
Experience with ServiceNow Event Management and ITSM processes.
Familiarity with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or ThousandEyes.
Solid understanding of network architecture (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP) and security concepts.
Knowledge of SLO/SLA frameworks and reliability engineering principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
