Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to lead end-to-end revenue recognition and accounting operations in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606. The role involves managing month-end and quarter-end close activities, overseeing financial reporting and account reconciliations, supporting audits, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements through automation and technology.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including journal entries, revenue transactions, write-offs, allowances, reserves, and related estimates.

2. Provide technical guidance on US GAAP, ASC 606, revenue recognition policies, and complex revenue arrangements.

3. Oversee revenue reporting, financial analysis, account reconciliations, audit support, and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.

4. Drive process improvement, automation, dashboard development, and reporting enhancements using financial systems and analytical tools.

5. Lead team performance management, monitor operational KPIs and SLAs, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure quality, productivity, and timely service delivery.

Required Skills :

1. Strong technical expertise in revenue accounting and revenue recognition under ASC 606.

2. Thorough understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and complex contractual revenue arrangements.

3. Experience leading accounting teams and managing performance, quality, and operational targets.

4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

5. Knowledge of account reconciliations, audit support, SOX compliance, and internal controls.

Qualifications :

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Technical Revenue Accounting and Revenue Accounting.

• At least 5 years of leadership or people management experience.

• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP.

• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close, revenue reporting, and financial reconciliations.

• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency preferred.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion, ERP applications, SQL-based analysis, and reporting tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
