Vice President – Fund Accounting Trades

Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Manila time)

Work Setup: Onsite – Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig

Role Overview

As a Vice President – Fund Accounting Trades within the Fund Servicing function, you will manage workflow across the full lifecycle of market trades. The role focuses on ETD competencies and broker reconciliation to ensure accurate, efficient processing and validation, as well as operational management and control of daily workflows within the Trades Team.

Key Responsibilities

Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning; ensure a robust team structure via training and succession planning.

Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution, cash and stock break & event management, and production of required key metrics.

Own departmental issues and ensure timely escalation to Operational and Risk leads.

Ensure adherence to global escalation policies; maintain up-to-date awareness of RED policies and procedures; attest to operational procedures as required; actively comply with ethics and conduct standards.

Provide direction and leadership; communicate effectively so staff are informed of strategic and regulatory changes.

Continuously review and improve Standard Operating Procedures in line with new policies and ongoing risk management.

Act as a focal point during issue planning or crisis reviews, demonstrating flexibility in production processes and rapid technical assessment.

Ensure viable Business Continuity and Concentration plans are in place, tested per policy, and understood by all staff.

Validate exceptions above defined materiality thresholds; identify process weaknesses and solutions; continuously build industry and product knowledge.

Leadership Responsibilities

Represent the Global Trades team with internal and external stakeholders; promote departmental strategy, products, and capabilities.

Participate in investment initiative prioritization; support operational partners in Asset Servicing on strategic initiatives.

Contribute to asset servicing product strategy; identify opportunities, build business cases, conduct appropriate analysis, and implement project governance to deliver agreed outcomes
Required Qualifications & Skills

10+ years’ experience in Trades, Fund Accounting, or Asset Servicing.

Minimum 4 years’ experience as a People Manager.

Strong operational SME background (e.g., Reconciliation, Settlements, Trade Support).

Proven people management capability with the ability to lead and motivate managers.
