JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

As the Data Storytelling Senior Associate, you will provide support to the Head of Data Visualization & Storytelling for HR Workforce Analytics.

Your primary responsibility is to help stakeholders across the organization make data-driven decisions by translating complex data insights into easy-to-understand stories that influence action.

You will collaborate with and leverage the team’s business intelligence capabilities, statistical analysis, and AI/ML to extract valuable insights and discover opportunities to move the business forward.

Additionally, you will work to ensure that all visualizations and communications are compliant with applicable controls, policies, and procedures.

Candidate Profile

Your abilities and experiences span not only in art and design but also in mathematics and statistics, enabling you to create visual communications that efficiently and intuitively transmit quantitative information.

You combine thought leadership and innovation with practical action, thrive working with highly effective teams, and are adept at establishing strong working partnerships across organizational, functional, and hierarchical boundaries.

You understand and reinforce the corporate culture of balancing fast, relevant, and effective delivery, with appropriate stakeholder partnership and coordination, and conformance with all applicable controls, policies, and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate across stakeholders, including developers, data scientists, and SMEs, to understand and align on business objectives and data requirements.

Develop compelling data-driven narratives that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to various audiences, such as senior executives, departmental leaders, and managers.

Provide guidance and support to BI developers in creating visually appealing and accessible data visualizations.

Apply visual design principles to ensure a positive user experience in the presentation of quantitative information.

Conduct business and data analysis to uncover actionable insights.

Help create a distinct visual identity for the group's products.

Ensure compliance with all applicable controls, policies, and procedures

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree with curriculum including business, mathematics, and/or art and 3 to 5 years relevant working experience.

Portfolio of work demonstrating effective visual communication of quantitative information.

Experience working with HR data analytics teams and strong understanding of common challenges for HR leadership.

Experience working on fast-paced, cross-functional teams in demanding business environments.

Practical experience with tools for business intelligence, quantitative graphical analysis, and UX/UI design (e.g., Tableau, Figma).

Basic understanding of statistics and a desire to work within AI/ML.

Willing to work on night shift.

Excellent communication skills, with ability to concisely, clearly, and accurately share ideas both written and verbal.
