Join a team that delivers an exceptional mortgage origination experience for Private Bank clients. As a Mortgage Manager II (Assistant Vice President), you will lead end-to-end mortgage origination operations, manage complex loan portfolios, oversee pipeline management, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive operational excellence. You will also lead and develop a team while partnering with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate mortgage processing and funding.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mortgage origination operations from file intake through closing and funding.
Manage daily mortgage pipelines and resolve escalations.
Review complex mortgage files involving non-standard income, assets, and collateral.
Partner with underwriting, processing, closing, and mortgage solutions teams.
Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations, policies, and controls.
Maintain quality standards, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness.
Lead, coach, and develop an operations team of 5–10 FTEs.
Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Prepare operational reports, metrics, and status updates.
Support management coverage and senior leadership requirements when needed.
Requirements
10+ years of US Mortgage Operations experience.
5+ years of people leadership experience in an operations environment.
Extensive people management experience.
Strong US Mortgage and Mortgage Origination experience.
Experience managing complex mortgage files.
Strong process improvement and operational efficiency background.
Knowledge of mortgage compliance, regulations, and operational controls.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with mortgage origination systems and reporting tools.
