ROLE DETAILS

Position: Custom Software Engineer
Work Setup: Onsite – Manila
Schedule: Shifting schedule
Salary: 100000-120000

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Custom Software Engineer, you’ll help design, develop, maintain, and enhance custom software solutions that support business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, coding, testing, and enhancing software solutions
Working with IBM Db2 and Natural to support business applications
Collaborating with technical and cross-functional teams
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Contributing to technical discussions and solution design
Participating in project planning and estimation
Identifying opportunities to improve development processes
Sharing knowledge and supporting collaboration within the team
Helping deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’d love to hear from candidates who have:

Strong proficiency in IBM Db2
Proficiency in Natural
Strong knowledge of database design and optimization
Experience with SQL and performance tuning
Understanding of Agile software development practices
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams

EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirement:

⭐ 5 years of professional experience with IBM Db2

Experience with Natural, SQL, database optimization, and performance tuning is also required for this role.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

This is an onsite opportunity in Manila with a shifting schedule, which may include night shifts depending on business requirements.

Occasional travel may also be required for client or project engagements.
