Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Apigee Developer to design, develop, support, and manage API solutions using Google Cloud’s Apigee platform. The role involves API proxy development, security policy implementation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, platform maintenance, and cloud product releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop solutions using Apigee Edge and API Gateway.

• Provide software engineering support and maintenance for Apigee Edge and OPDK.

• Develop patches, bug fixes, features, and required tools and services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, bugs, and feature requests.

• Perform operations and maintenance of Cassandra, Zookeeper, Consul, and PostgreSQL.

• Plan and execute platform and database component upgrades.

• Provide L2 engineering support for Apigee data components.

• Manage cloud product and OPDK releases.

• Support development, operations, and maintenance of the Monetization platform.

• Work with release and provisioning teams for cloud deployments.

• Support components such as Edge Microgateway and Extensions.

• Provide PostgreSQL database tuning support.

• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues.

• Work toward reducing technical debt and improving platform reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of professional Apigee experience.

• Strong experience with Apigee Edge and API Gateway management.

• Proficiency in RESTful API design, Node.js, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of API security protocols and access control mechanisms.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work daily onsite in BGC, Taguig, on a shifting schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Apigee certification or Google Cloud API Management specialization.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and service mesh.
