Talend Support Consultant/Developer – Senior Level
Location: Taguig, Philippines
Work Setup: Hybrid
Work Shift: Mid Shift

Position Overview
As a member of the Integration & Distribution Competency Center, the Talend Support Consultant/Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions using the Talend platform.
The role involves delivering scalable and reliable integration solutions across diverse business and technology environments while ensuring compliance with integration standards, architectural best practices, security requirements, and governance frameworks. The successful candidate will support integration initiatives, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement across integration processes and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and support Talend integration solutions, interfaces, and data workflows.
Develop and support enterprise integration solutions using Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Talend jobs, workflows, and integration processes.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, implementation documentation, and operational procedures.
Support enterprise integration projects from planning through implementation and delivery.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver integration solutions.
Perform unit, integration, and performance testing and resolve defects.
Provide application maintenance and production support, including incident investigation and resolution.
Integrate enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Ensure adherence to integration standards, security requirements, development best practices, and governance frameworks.
Participate in integration architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support scheduling, monitoring, and automation of integration workflows.
Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when required.
Support knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption within the integration community.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, ETL/ELT development, or middleware technologies.
Hands-on experience with Talend Management Console (TMC).
Hands-on experience developing and supporting Talend integration solutions.
Strong knowledge of Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud platforms.
Strong experience with Java, SQL/PL-SQL, and scripting technologies.
Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Solid understanding of enterprise integration concepts, architecture patterns, and best practices.
Familiarity with scheduling, monitoring, and automation tools.
Experience with project and service management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Talend or related integration technology certification is an advantage.
